Senfgurken (German Mustard Pickles)

This traditional german sweet pickle is made from more mature cucumbers. It is sweet, but not too sweet with a distinct mustard flavor. Our version uses local unfiltered apple cider vinegar as the brine base. This is a fun addition to your holiday pickle platter and can be used in a similar way to watermelon rind pickles as an appetizer.
